Module for sending and receiving audio over bluetooth, based on RN52 from Microchip. Audio source and speaker/amplifier I/O through 3.5mm mini jacks. The RN52 chip delivers high sound quality and has a built in DSP which is configured using simple ASCII commands. The module also supports HSP/HFP, (Handsfree/Headset Profile) A2DP, AVRCP, SPP and digital I/O.
Support for aptX ensures high CD quality audio (16 bit 44.1kHz). Also supports iAP for use with Apple devices such as iPad, iPhone, iPod and mac computers.
BT Audio click has a range of 10 meters in open spaces, plenty for most indoor applications.
Communication with the main board is done using mikroBUS UART.
