What is Arduino?
Arduino is an open-source development platform that combines hardware and software to enable the creation of interactive electronic projects. The platform is flexible, easy to use, and suitable for both beginners and advanced users. By connecting sensors and actuators to an Arduino board (microcontroller board), users can read environmental data and control various types of equipment such as motors, lights, and relays.
Programming is done using the Arduino IDE – a free, cross-platform development environment – where code is written in a language based on C++. The program is uploaded to the microcontroller board via USB, and the board can then run independently of the computer.
