Pro Mini for 5 V projects. The Pro Mini has the USB port removed to provide a very small and cost-effective board operating at 5 V and 16 MHz. Perfect for battery-powered applications and sensors. It is thin, compact, and easy to integrate. This is SparkFun’s own interpretation of the Arduino architecture, where everything except the essentials has been stripped away to create a board that is small, affordable, and suitable for permanent installation.
The board can advantageously be used together with the 12201001 FTDI breakout for programming.
