Product description
SparkFun Serial Basic Breakout with CH340C and USB-C is a USB-to-serial adapter module intended for communication and serial debugging between a host computer and microcontroller-based or embedded systems. It uses the CH340C interface to convert between USB and UART serial data and features a USB-C connector. It can supply up to 1.5 A from the USB host for powering external circuitry. The USB interface typically installs drivers automatically on common operating systems without requiring manual driver installation. The pinout follows a standard DTR/RXI/TXO/VCC/CTS/GND configuration, making it compatible with many existing FTDI adapters. The module can be used both as a dedicated serial adapter and as a general-purpose serial interface, for example when debugging modules or sensors. Selectable VCC output and logic level between 3.3 V and 5 V.
