General Sales Terms

This is an overview of our terms. Please also refer to the detailed terms for your customer category.

Delivery

For orders placed by the buyer through the online shop, a fixed shipping and handling fee is added, as indicated at checkout. No other fees apply. Electrokit chooses the shipping method that is most suitable considering the size, weight, and price of the item. We normally send packages with DB Schenker or DHL, and letters are sent by Posten. For the requested shipping method, freight is charged according to what is stated in the "checkout" or according to the carrier's gross price list. For deliveries to addresses outside the EU, such as Åland, Swedish VAT is excluded. However, you normally have to pay local VAT and any customs duties when you pick up the package in your home country. Check with your local postal or customs authority for details. We do not declare goods as "gift" or at a lower value. For deliveries to consumers in Norway, Norwegian VAT is calculated according to the VOEC rules (VAT on E-Commerce) in Norway. Deliveries to businesses in Norway are made without VAT, and the customer is responsible for VAT and any customs duties upon collection of the package. Personal Information

In order to process your order, we need to register and process the personal information you provide. When you place an order, you give us the right to collect, store, and process this information in our systems. We do not sell information to third parties. Some information is shared with third parties so that we can fulfill our agreement with you. For example, shipping companies must have the information necessary (such as name, address, telephone number, and email) for them to deliver your package. Your consent includes our partner being able to access, as well as store and process relevant information.

30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return policy on all products. If, for any reason, you do not want to keep the item, you can return it to us and get a refund. You are responsible for the return shipping cost. For the return policy to apply, the item must be in its undamaged original packaging and unused. ESD protective packaging must not have been opened. Furthermore, the return policy can only be applied to items purchased in individual units.

Secure Payments

We use Worldline to handle our credit and debit card payments. Worldline is certified according to PCI DSS, and payment is made in a secure payment window. No sensitive account information is processed by or stored at Electrokit. For card payments, the amount is reserved on your account when you make the payment, but the amount is not withdrawn until the delivery has started. As an alternative, we also offer invoice payment, advance payment, and Swish.

Currencies

We currently handle payments in SEK, EUR, and USD. The currency used is determined by the customer's country. Customers in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark pay in SEK, customers in EURO countries and some other countries in Europe pay in EUR, and customers in the rest of the world pay in USD. Therefore, it is not possible to pay in USD or EUR if you are in Sweden.

Suitability for Use

The products we sell are primarily intended for educational and experimental activities. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the product is suitable for a specific application in all respects if the customer intends to use it on a more permanent basis or as part of a final product.
