Code of Conduct and Responsible Business Operations
Introduction
Electrokit Sweden AB shall conduct its operations with high business ethics, respect for people and the environment, and in accordance with applicable legislation. The Code of Conduct is a governing document describing the principles to be applied in daily operations.
The Code is based on the UN Global Compact, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the ILO core conventions.
The purpose is to ensure responsible business conduct throughout the value chain.
Scope and responsibility
The Code of Conduct applies to all employees, management, board members, consultants, as well as suppliers and their subcontractors.
All concerned parties shall:
- comply with applicable legislation
- comply with this Code of Conduct or equivalent
- Suppliers shall be able to demonstrate compliance through documentation and transparency.
Legal requirements
Electrokit Sweden AB shall always comply with applicable laws and regulations in the countries where it operates.
Human rights
Electrokit Sweden AB shall respect and support internationally recognized human rights.
This means that:
- operations must not contribute to violations of human rights
- risks in the supply chain shall be identified and managed
- all individuals shall be treated with respect and dignity
Child labor and forced labor are prohibited in all forms.
Working conditions
Electrokit Sweden AB shall ensure fair and lawful working conditions.
This means that:
- employment shall be voluntary and regulated by contract
- working hours, rest, and compensation shall comply with law or collective agreements (CBA)
- wages shall at minimum meet statutory levels or applicable collective agreements (CBA)
- unlawful wage deductions must not occur
Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining shall be respected.
Discrimination and harassment
Discrimination and harassment are not accepted. All employees shall be treated equally regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or other background.

Electrokit Sweden AB shall minimize its environmental impact and work with continuous improvements. Electrokits environmental work is based on the company’s environmental policy. To ensure compliance, an environmental management system based on ISO 14001:2015 is implemented. This system forms the foundation for meeting legal requirements, regulatory compliance, and structured continuous improvement.
This means that:
- environmental legislation shall be followed
- resource use shall be optimized
- emissions shall be minimized
- waste and chemicals shall be handled responsibly
- energy use shall be optimized and continuously improved
circular principles shall be considered, such as recycling and resource-efficient design
Business ethics
Electrokit Sweden AB shall conduct its operations with high integrity.
This means that:
- corruption, bribery, and fraud are prohibited
- business decisions shall be objective
- conflicts of interest shall be avoided
