Product description
Arduino Plug & Make Kit is a complete introduction to programmable electronics and IoT. The kit is designed to simplify and reduce the complexity of traditional setups involving jumper wires and breadboards. Instead, it uses modules that can easily be daisy-chained using the included cables. Everything is supported by clear instructions and full integration with the Arduino Cloud – everything you need to get started with smart, fun, and educational projects.
The following Modulinos (Qwiic-compatible modules) are included:
- Modulino Distance: Measures distance with high precision.
- Modulino Pixels: Controls color and intensity of eight RGB LEDs.
- Modulino Knob: A rotary potentiometer for precise value adjustments.
- Modulino Buzzer: Generates sound for alarms or melodies.
- Modulino Movement: Detects movement in three dimensions (accelerometer).
- Modulino Buttons: Input via tactile pushbuttons.
- Modulino Thermo: Measures temperature and humidity.
The kit also includes:
- Arduino UNO R4 WiFi: The core of your projects.
- Qwiic cables: For connecting the Modulino modules.
- USB-C cable: Connects the Arduino to your computer.
- Modulino Base (mounting plate): Provides a stable foundation for your setup.
- Standoffs, screws, and nuts: For secure and durable mounting.
Example projects:
The kit includes step-by-step instructions for seven projects, each demonstrating the functionality of one or more Modulino modules
- Weather Report: Visual weather forecast using LED indicators
- Hourglass: Digital hourglass with adjustable settings
- Eco Watch: Monitors temperature and humidity for plant environments
- Game Controller: Build a HID-compatible game controller
- Sonic Synth: Create a simple 8-bit synthesizer
- Smart Lights: Control lighting via smartphone and Arduino Cloud
- Touchless Lamp: Gesture-controlled lamp using distance sensor
With Arduino Cloud, users get access to a mobile app for monitoring and controlling IoT devices, as well as preconfigured project templates and customizable dashboards.
Target audience:
The kit is suitable for beginners aged 14 and up – including students, educators, and hobbyists – who want to explore electronics and programming without requiring prior experience.
