Product description
ML1220 rechargeable coin cell, Li–Al Alloy Manganese Dioxide type. The ML1220 is a rechargeable battery of the Li–Al Alloy Manganese Dioxide type (lithium–aluminum alloy).ML batteries are rechargeable lithium cells that use a lithium–aluminum alloy anode and a manganese dioxide (MnO₂) cathode.
This battery chemistry provides a stable operating voltage, long service life, and very low self-discharge.
ML cells are designed for low-current applications with limited charging requirements, such as real-time clocks (RTC), memory backup, and sensors.
They can be charged with a controlled low current and have a nominal voltage of 3.0 V. ML batteries combine the high energy density of lithium cells with rechargeability, making them common in many low-power applications.
