Product description
Electrokit EK039 is a water alarm with a sensor for detecting liquids. When the sensor detects water, the LED is activated and the buzzer emits an audible signal. The sensor section can be separated from the main PCB and connected using wires, allowing the sensor to be positioned at a distance. The kit is easy to assemble and consists of a small number of components that are soldered onto the PCB.
The water alarm can, for example, be placed on the floor near a washing machine, dishwasher, or other equipment where there is a risk of water leakage. When the sensor comes into contact with water or moisture, the resistance of the sensor decreases and the buzzer is activated.
The water alarm is powered by a 9 V battery. The battery lasts a long time because the detector draws no current when the sensor is dry.
