Product description
LSM303AGR is a compact sensor module that combines a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis magnetometer on a single board. It enables measurement of motion, tilt, and magnetic fields, making it suitable for applications such as digital compass, navigation, and positioning.
The sensor is based on the LSM303AGR and communicates via I2C, allowing easy integration with microcontrollers and development boards. By combining accelerometer data (gravity) and magnetometer data (magnetic field), the module’s orientation can be determined relative to the Earth's magnetic field.
The board is equipped with Qwiic connectors, enabling quick connection without soldering. For more permanent installations, plated through-holes for pin headers are also available. Built-in level shifting and voltage regulation allow the module to be used with both 3.3 V and 5 V systems.
The module includes mounting holes for easy installation. Pin headers are included but not pre-soldered. Support is available for Arduino, CircuitPython, and Python, simplifying development and integration into various project environments.
