Product description
Stepper motor driver based on the Trinamic TMC2209 for controlling bipolar stepper motors. The module is used in CNC machines, 3D printers, and other applications requiring quiet and precise stepper motor control. It is controlled using DIR and STEP signals and supports microstepping up to 1/64 via hardware or up to 1/256 via UART. The board is equipped with screw terminals for easy connection of the motor and power supply, adjustable current limiting via a potentiometer, as well as diagnostic and index outputs.

Note that higher currents cause both the stepper motor driver and the stepper motor to generate more heat, which may require a heatsink to be fitted to the driver IC (e.g. 41037422).
