Product description
Qwiic Mux Breakout is an I²C multiplexer module that enables communication with multiple I²C devices sharing the same address on a common bus. It provides individual control of up to eight separate I²C channels, resolving address conflicts in robotics or sensor applications. The module uses the Qwiic interface for simple plug-and-play connectivity and includes pass-through connectors for daisy-chaining additional Qwiic modules on the same bus. The mux addresses are configurable using solder jumpers, allowing multiple mux units to be used in parallel to further expand the system.
Specifications:
- Supply voltage: 1.65 V to 5.5 V
- I²C address: 0x70 (default), configurable up to 0x77
- Number of I²C channels: 8 separate multiplexed I²C buses
- Connections: 10 Qwiic connectors (8 channels + 2 pass-through)
- Operating temperature range: -40 to +85 °C
- Function: Multiplexing of I²C devices with identical addresses
- Dimensions: 56 x 37 x 5 mm
