Adafruit Triple LED Matrix Bonnet is an expansion board for Raspberry Pi used to control HUB75 RGB LED matrices. The board connects directly to the Raspberry Pi via its 40-pin GPIO connector and can drive three parallel chains of HUB75 matrices.
Built-in level shifters convert the Raspberry Pi's 3.3 V logic to 5 V logic for controlling the matrices. The LED matrices are not powered by the board and require a separate power supply. Multiple matrices can be daisy-chained in each chain.
The board works with Raspberry Pi models equipped with a 40-pin GPIO connector, including Zero, Zero 2, Pi 3, Pi 4, and Pi 5. For best performance, Adafruit recommends Raspberry Pi 4 or Pi 5.
