USB-C female breakout is a board that makes it easy to integrate a USB-C connector into custom designs where only basic USB 2.0 functionality is required. The board breaks out the four USB signals (VBUS, D+, D−, GND) to solder pads. Ideal for direct connection to microcontrollers or other USB devices in prototypes and embedded systems.
The inline-style design is often used in applications such as custom keyboards or other enclosed projects where the connector can be glued or mechanically secured in the enclosure.
The board lacks CC resistors for USB-C negotiation, which means it is primarily intended for simple USB connections and may not function correctly with all power sources that require full USB-C handshake or PD negotiation.
