Product description
BISS0001 is a signal processor developed for passive infrared sensors (PIR). The circuit is used to process signals from pyroelectric sensors and is commonly used in motion detectors, automatic lighting systems, alarm systems, and other presence-based control systems. It integrates amplifiers, comparators, a reference voltage, and timer functions in a single circuit, reducing the need for external components and simplifying the design of PIR-based sensor modules.
The internal architecture consists of two operational amplifiers for signal amplification and signal processing, several comparators for signal comparison, and a control unit with an integrated delay timer and inhibit timer. These functions make it possible to amplify and filter sensor signals, generate a stable trigger, and control the output signal for a defined time period after detection.
The circuit has a wide range of applications in PIR-based systems where human presence needs to be detected without physical contact. It can be used, for example, to control lighting, alarms, fans, or automatic doors.
