40-pin stackable socket header with 2 × 20 pins and 2.54 mm pitch. Suitable for applications where circuit boards need to be connected and stacked on top of each other or where additional spacing between two boards is required.
Also suitable for Raspberry Pi models with a 40-pin GPIO connector. Used to increase the distance between the Raspberry Pi and connected expansion boards (HATs), for example when components on the Raspberry Pi require additional clearance.
