Ethernet module based on the WIZnet W5500, designed to provide microcontrollers and development boards with a fast and reliable Ethernet connection. The module communicates via SPI and is suitable for network-connected projects such as IoT devices, home automation, and other embedded systems requiring wired network communication. The RJ45 connector allows the module to be connected directly to an Ethernet network.
The W5500 features a built-in hardware TCP/IP stack with integrated 10/100 Mbps Ethernet MAC and PHY, reducing the processing load on the connected microcontroller. The IC supports communication using TCP, UDP, IPv4, ICMP, ARP, IGMP, and PPPoE.
