Product description
USB-to-UART converter based on the CH340. Makes it easy to connect a microcontroller to a computer's USB port for programming, debugging and serial communication. The module acts as a bridge between USB and a microcontroller's UART interface with 3.3 V or 5 V logic level compatibility. It is compatible with popular development boards such as ESP32, RP2040, ATmega328P and many others.
The CH340 converter is easy to use and allows serial data to be sent from a microcontroller to a computer via USB using UART. It is suitable for applications ranging from programming ESP32 modules to providing serial console access for embedded systems. CH340 drivers are available for Windows, macOS and Linux.
The module features a USB-C connector, selectable 3.3 V or 5 V output voltage, and status LEDs for transmit and receive activity.
The module uses a CH340 USB-to-UART bridge and features a standard pinout with DTR, RXD, TXD, VCC, CTS and GND. Additional control signals are available on separate pins. The UART signals always use 3.3 V logic levels, even when the output voltage is set to 5 V.
