Three Fives - Discrete 555 Timer (kit)

Three Fives – discrete 555 timer soldering kit built using transistors and resistors in accordance with the NE555 equivalent circuit.

Three Fives is a functional and faithful replica of the classic NE555 timer, built entirely from discrete components. The through-hole kit includes an extra-thick PCB with pre-installed threaded inserts and a two-piece anodised aluminium stand that mimics DIP-style IC legs. Terminal posts and solder pads allow connection of standard 555 timer circuits using wires, clips, or soldered joints.

The kit includes colour-coded terminal posts, resistors, transistors (2N3904/2N3906), mounting hardware, and printed assembly instructions. The circuit board reproduces the functionality of the NE555 based on the schematic shown in the datasheet.
