Ceramic cylindrical fuses of class gG are used as general protection against overcurrents and short circuits, and are intended for the protection of cables, power lines, and equipment.
The fuses feature a ceramic body with high resistance to internal pressure and thermal shock, enabling high breaking capacity in a compact form factor. The fuse elements are specially designed to prevent aging and thereby maintain stable electrical characteristics over time. The end caps are made of silver-plated copper.
