RS232/485/422 to Ethernet is a communication module that functions as a serial server and IoT gateway. It enables bidirectional transparent data transmission between RS232, RS485 or RS422 and Ethernet, making it suitable for data acquisition, industrial automation, monitoring, and network-based control systems.
The module combines several functions in one unit, including serial server, Modbus gateway, and MQTT gateway. It can be used to connect serial devices to a network or cloud services via standard TCP/IP protocols. Support is available for multiple communication modes such as TCP server, TCP client, UDP, and virtual serial port.
Powered via screw terminal or DC connector.
The design is adapted for industrial environments with galvanic isolation for both signal and power supply, as well as overvoltage protection. The enclosed housing is intended for DIN rail mounting, which simplifies installation in electrical cabinets and industrial systems.
