Product description
Qwiic pHAT v2.0 for Raspberry Pi is an expansion board that makes it easy to connect Qwiic-compatible sensors and modules to a Raspberry Pi via I2C without soldering. The board routes the Raspberry Pi’s I2C signals (3.3 V, GND, SDA, and SCL) to four Qwiic connectors, all on the same I2C bus.
Qwiic makes it easy to connect sensors - either one per port or several daisy-chained. For multiple devices to work at the same time they need different I2C addresses, which can usually be configured on each sensor module. The board also includes a screw terminal for 5 V power to peripherals that require higher voltage, as well as a general-purpose button connected to GPIO that can, for example, be used for safe shutdown via a script.
The board connects to the Raspberry Pi via the standard 40-pin GPIO header.
