NTC

NTCs are a kind of resistor which have less resistance the higher the ambient temperature gets. They are often used as temperature sensors. However, the resistance doesn’t change linearly in relation to the temperature, but rather follows an exponential curve. Some calculations may thus be necessary before using the measured temperature.
