PIR motion sensor used to detect movement via changes in infrared radiation. The module is based on a pyroelectric sensor with a Fresnel lens that registers motion within the detection area. Provides a digital output when motion is detected. The sensor has adjustable range set via a potentiometer. The module is suitable for security systems, presence detection, and automation together with a microcontroller.
