Product description
PCIe TO M.2 HAT+ is an expansion board for Raspberry Pi 5 that enables connection of an NVMe-based M.2 SSD via the built-in PCIe interface. It connects to Raspberry Pi 5 via the 16-pin PCIe cable and uses the PCIe x1 interface in Gen2 or Gen3 mode. The solution is designed for NVMe-based M.2 drives in the 2230 and 2242 form factors. Thanks to direct PCIe communication, storage speeds can reach approximately 800–900 MB/s. The board follows the HAT+ standard and includes an onboard EEPROM for automatic hardware identification. Two status LEDs indicate operating status: one for power (PWR) and one for activity (ACT). The board also features integrated monitoring of the SSD power supply as well as ventilation openings. Supplied with mounting screws, spacers, stacking header and a 40 mm PCIe flat cable.
