Product description
Console and debug cable with built-in USB-to-UART (TTL) converter.
Four connections (Dupont): +5 V (from the USB port), RX, TX, and GND. RX/TX are adapted for 3.3 V logic.
Connection: USB type A connector, 4x 2.54 mm dupont socket
The cable works very well as a debug/console cable for Raspberry Pi, but is not suitable for programming Arduino since it cannot generate a reset signal. For that purpose, an FTDI cable is recommended instead.
Drivers for Windows (8, 10, 11) and macOS, see links.
Connections:
- Red: VCC +5 V
- Black: GND
- White: RX (3.3 V TTL) – normally connected to TX on the target system (TXD)
- Green: TX (3.3 V TTL) – normally connected to RX on the target system (RXD)
