Resistive analog joystick, similar to the one used in the PSP1000. It is compact and provides a characteristic sliding feel during operation.
Viewed from the underside, the pins are arranged as follows:
- 1: X-axis output
- 2: +5 V
- 3: Y-axis output
- 4: Ground
When connected to an Arduino, each axis provides a value range of about 128 to 775. The rubber thumb pad can be removed if needed. The solder pads are spaced at 2 mm. A 2.54 mm header can be connected by slightly bending the pins.
