HyperPixel 4.0 Square is a high-resolution 4-inch IPS display with capacitive touch functionality for Raspberry Pi. The display has a square resolution of 720 x 720 pixels and uses a high-speed DPI interface that enables refresh rates of 60 FPS. It is suitable for applications such as graphical user interfaces, control panels, and games.
The display connects directly to the Raspberry Pi's 40-pin GPIO header and is compatible with Raspberry Pi models equipped with this connector, including the Pi Zero and Pi Zero W. The touchscreen supports multitouch.
HyperPixel uses virtually all available GPIO pins, limiting the ability to connect other HAT boards and GPIO devices simultaneously. A separate I²C interface is available on the back of the PCB for connecting devices such as sensors.
