Panasonic AQA411VL – Compact Zero-Cross Solid State Relay (SSR). The Panasonic AQA411VL is a compact and robust solid state relay (SSR) of zero-cross type with screw terminals. It can replace mechanical relays in industrial applications where silent operation, high durability, and fast switching are desired. Zero-cross switching in solid state relays means that the relay switches the load on or off when the alternating (AC) drive voltage crosses zero volts—i.e., at the lowest point of the sinusoidal waveform. This provides several technical advantages, especially when controlling resistive or moderately inductive loads. It significantly reduces EMI, increases the service life of connected loads, decreases thermal stress on the relay, and improves inrush current control.
