Curtain lens, Fresnel lens intended for use with pyroelectric infrared sensors. Compatible with, for example, the Murata IRA-S210 series. The lens is used to focus and shape the infrared radiation field onto the sensor’s pyroelectric element, enabling reliable detection of motion and presence. The design provides a defined field of view and zone pattern optimized for indoor presence detection, such as motion alarms, lighting control, and energy management systems.
A curtain lens shapes the detection area into a narrow, elongated “curtain”. Commonly used for corridor monitoring.
