Product description
FAKRA connector is a standardized coaxial connector primarily used in the automotive industry for RF signal connections, such as GPS, antenna, camera, and communication systems. It is based on the SMB connector but includes an additional color and coding system, as well as a mechanical locking mechanism that ensures correct mating and prevents the connection of incompatible signal types. FAKRA uses the same electrical interface as SMB, making it electrically compatible, while its more robust housing and locking system make it better suited for environments with vibration and mechanical stress.
Specifications:
- FAKRA code C (blue) female
- SMB male for crimp
- For cable type: RG174/RG316/LMR100
