Product description
A development board based on the PIC18F16Q20 processor. A built-in debugger, along with an LED and a switch, facilitate the development process.
The PIC18F16Q20 is a modern 8-bit microcontroller from Microchip, featuring a wide range of communication interfaces, including I3C (device mode), I2C, SPI and UART, with support for LIN/DMX/DALI, asynchronous UART, as well as RS-232 and RS-485. A CWG (Complementary Waveform Generator) can generate PWM waveforms with advanced control, for driving motors, LED lighting, etc.
The processor has several different sleep modes and offers ultra-low power consumption. The board also features a programmable voltage regulator (controlled by the microcontroller) rated at 1.8–5.1 V, 500 mA.
The PIC18F16Q20 is suitable for safety-critical applications such as products in the automotive industry and industrial applications (IEC 61508 and ISO 26262).
