Product description
Common mode choke 10 mH. An inductive component used in mains filters and EMI filters to reduce electromagnetic interference in electrical circuits. It is typically placed in series with the mains line or power supply and suppresses noise generated by switched-mode power supplies, motor drives and other power electronics. By filtering high-frequency interference signals, both EMC performance and system stability are improved. The component is therefore commonly used in power supplies, industrial electronics, household appliances and other equipment where noise suppression is required. A common mode choke operates with two windings coupled on a shared ferrite core. When interference appears simultaneously on both conductors (so-called common mode current), it is effectively suppressed by the inductance while the normal current to the load is minimally affected. This type of component is therefore an important part of designs that must meet EMC requirements and limit conducted noise on the mains.
The UU9.8Y-10mH model is constructed with a ferrite core and two identical windings and is suitable for PCB mounting in mains filters and line filters.
