Product description
Air quality sensor based on the Bosch BME680 for measuring temperature, barometric pressure, relative humidity, and volatile organic compounds (VOC). The sensor is suitable for applications such as weather stations, indoor climate monitoring, air quality monitoring, IoT projects, and other applications where multiple environmental parameters need to be monitored.
Communication is via I2C, and the module is equipped with two Qwiic connectors for quick solderless connection. The board is designed for 3.3 V logic and includes an onboard regulator, allowing the module to be powered from 5 V. Air quality measurement is based on the sensor's integrated gas sensor, which measures the concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOC). Using Bosch's BSEC software library, the measured values can also be used to calculate an IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) index.
