Product description
B-G431B-ESC1 is a Discovery development board and electronic speed controller (ESC) for controlling a 3-phase brushless motor (BLDC/PMSM). The board is based on the STM32G431CB microcontroller together with an L6387 gate driver and STL180N6F7 power MOSFETs. It supports both sensorless FOC (Field-Oriented Control) and 6-step commutation with speed regulation and active braking.
The board consists of a main power board and a daughterboard with an integrated ST-LINK/V2-1 for programming and debugging. UART, CAN and PWM interfaces are available for connection to devices such as flight controllers. Motors with Hall sensors or encoders are supported. The daughterboard also features a 5 V BEC for powering external electronics.
