Product description
6-axis IMU accelerometer and gyroscope with BMI270. A compact IMU module designed for precise measurement of motion and orientation in 6 axes, which corresponds to 6DoF (Degrees of Freedom). The board is based on the Bosch BMI270, which integrates a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope. The BMI270 features low power consumption as well as built-in functions for motion detection and interrupt handling. The module is compatible with Qwiic for quick connection via I²C without soldering. All signals are also broken out to a 2.54 mm pitch header for use on a breadboard.
The integrated sensor enables accurate recording of acceleration and angular velocity, and includes features such as step counting, gesture detection, and various motion events, making the module suitable for applications such as robotics, wearable systems, and motion analysis. The board has solder jumpers for I2C address selection, disconnecting I²C pull-ups, and disabling the LED, providing flexibility during integration.
