Product description
USB to RS485 converter with galvanic isolation and USB-A connector. Converts a USB port to RS485 for reliable serial communication in industrial environments. Based on the FT232RNL chip and supports bidirectional conversion between USB and RS485. The galvanically isolated design, combined with overvoltage, ESD, and overcurrent protection, provides high noise immunity and protects both the computer and connected equipment. Suitable for industrial automation, Modbus communication, PLC systems, data logging, and RS485 communication.
Features:
- Supports bidirectional USB to RS485 conversion
- Onboard FTDI FT232RNL chip for high-speed, stable, and reliable communication with excellent compatibility
- Onboard galvanically isolated RS485 transceiver with integrated electrical isolation and ESD protection, improving communication stability and noise immunity in industrial environments
- Onboard TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) diode that effectively suppresses transient voltages and provides excellent protection against electrostatic discharge and overvoltage
- Onboard resettable fuses and protection diodes providing overcurrent and overvoltage protection while ensuring stable current and voltage supply
