Product description
Temperature sensor and humidity sensor (hygrometer) in a weatherproof protective mesh housing, with a 1 meter long cable. Based on the SHT30-D sensor from Sensirion. Suitable for measuring temperature and humidity outdoors, but of course also works indoors, e.g. in a sauna, drying room and the like. An operating temperature from -40 to +125 °C makes it useful in many situations.
Precise measurement, typical error margins are ±2% for relative humidity and ±0.5 °C for temperature.
Easy to use with standard I2C interface, and lots of code examples for the sensor are available.
Specifications:
- Supply voltage (VCC): 2.4-5.5 VDC, typically 3.3 VDC
- Logic level: VCC ±0.5V
- I2C address: 0x44
- Built-in 2.2 kOhm pull-up resistors for SDA and SCL (to VCC)
- Operating temperature: -40 to +125 °C
- Diameter (sensor): 14 mm
- Length (sensor): 50 mm
Pinout:
- Brown/Red = VCC
- Black = Ground
- Yellow = Clock (SCL)
- Green/Blue = Data (SDA)
Please note that clock and data may occasionally be mixed up in the factory, so try the other way around if it doesn't work right away.
