Product description
A powerful and reliable step-up regulator (also called a boost regulator or boost converter) that regulates up an incoming voltage. The output voltage is set with an 11-turn precision trimmer potentiometer. The lowest voltage is 2.9V, while the highest allowed input voltage is whatever voltage the regulator has been trimmed to to. It is recommended that you first adjust the output voltage with 2.9V on the input, and later make sure that no higher voltages are input.
The efficiency is typically around 80-95%, but this depends on both the load and input voltage.
Please note that the module can get very hot (so hot that you can burn yourself) even during normal use. Be careful!
