A powerful and reliable step-up regulator (also called a boost regulator or boost converter) that converts an incoming voltage from 2.9V to 5V to a regulated 5V voltage. The low minimum input voltage makes the regulator suitable for use with batteries and other variable supplies.
The efficiency is typically around 80-95%, but this depends on both the load and input voltage.
Please note that the module can get very hot (so hot that you can burn yourself) even during normal use. Be careful!
