Product description
The DRV8825 module is a stepper motor driver with pre-soldered pin headers and a heatsink. It is based on the Texas Instruments DRV8825 IC, which is optimized for driving bipolar stepper motors. The module provides a simple STEP/DIR interface for control from a microcontroller, such as Arduino or a CNC shield.
Integrated protection features include overtemperature, overcurrent, and undervoltage lockout. The module supports both 3.3 V and 5 V logic levels. Support for microstepping allows selection of different resolutions for precise motor positioning. This results in smoother motion and reduced mechanical resonance in applications such as 3D printers and CNC machines. The module is compatible with RAMPS and CNC shields.
