Product description
Soil moisture sensor for measuring moisture levels in soil. The sensor measures the conductivity between two exposed contact areas, which together act as a variable resistor. Higher moisture levels result in lower resistance and a higher analog output signal. The board features a pre-programmed ATtiny85 that converts the analog signal to I²C. Connection is easily made via Qwiic. Programming connections are also broken out for I²C and SPI. The sensor areas feature an ENIG (Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold) surface finish for improved corrosion resistance.
