74LVC245 is an 8-bit level shifter for interfacing between different digital logic levels. It is used to connect for example 3.3V devices to 5V systems and also supports lower logic levels down to 1.8V. Suitable for applications such as SPI, parallel data buses, GPIO, and other high-speed digital signals. The IC is not intended for I2C, 1-Wire, or other open-drain interfaces.
