Product description
UV Protection Safety Glasses for the Electronics Industry. Safety Standard: EN166:2001 | UV Standard: EN170:2002 UV 2C-1.2 | UV400.
In the electronics industry, certain tasks involve exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation - such as working with UV-curing adhesives, performing UV inspections, or handling UV LEDs. To protect the eyes from harmful radiation, certified personal eye protection is essential.
These UV protection safety glasses comply with EN166:2001, the European standard for eye protection, ensuring tested mechanical strength, optical clarity, and user safety. The lens is certified according to EN170:2002, specifically designed to shield against UV radiation within the 200–400 nm wavelength range. The classification 2C-1.2 indicates a clear lens (2C = colorless with enhanced UV protection) with high light transmission, suitable for indoor use and work environments with varying lighting conditions.
Additionally, the lens meets UV400 requirements, blocking 100% of UVA and UVB radiation up to 400 nanometers.
Features:
- Optical class 1 for continuous use
- Lightweight and ergonomic design for extended wear
- Scratch-resistant coating
Typical Applications:
- UV curing and inspection
