ML2032 - Rechargeable coin cell battery for the RTC function (real-time clock) in Raspberry Pi 5. The battery is used together with the integrated RTC function in Raspberry Pi 5 and ensures that the system time is maintained without external power supply. This is particularly useful in applications where accurate timestamping is required, such as data logging, network applications, and embedded systems.
Installation is simple thanks to the pre-mounted 2-pin connector and included self-adhesive tape for flexible mounting inside an enclosure. The battery is automatically charged via Raspberry Pi 5 when the system is connected to power.
