Rotary encoder with Qwiic for quick connection and easy use with a microcontroller. The module is equipped with a mechanical EC11 rotary encoder with an integrated push button and two Qwiic connectors for fast, solder-free connection. The I2C address can be changed using address switches, allowing multiple modules to be used on the same I2C bus. A rotary encoder converts rotational movement and button presses into digital signals and can detect both the direction and number of rotation steps. It is suitable for applications such as volume controls, menu navigation, and other user interfaces. The built-in ATtiny404 microcontroller reads the rotary encoder and transfers rotation and button press events via I2C/Qwiic.
