Product description
RCWL-0516 is a microwave-based Doppler radar sensor used to detect motion of objects, including humans. Unlike passive infrared (PIR) sensors, which respond to heat, the RCWL-0516 uses active microwave technology and is therefore less affected by ambient temperatures. It can detect motion through non-conductive materials such as wood, plastic, and drywall.
