Pimoroni Interstate 75 W is a compact controller board for RGB LED matrices with a HUB75 interface, based on the RP2350A microcontroller and featuring built-in WiFi and Bluetooth. The board is designed to control LED panels and can be used for information displays, text animations, graphics, and displaying sensor data. Thanks to its wireless connectivity, the board can also retrieve and display information from the internet.
Interstate 75 W features a dual-core Arm Cortex-M33 processor with a clock frequency of up to 150 MHz, 520 KB SRAM, and 4 MB flash memory. The built-in Raspberry Pi RM2 module with the Infineon CYW43439 radio chip provides WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
The board is compatible with HUB75 LED matrices in sizes of 32 x 32, 32 x 64, 64 x 64, and 128 x 64 pixels. It connects directly to the back of an LED panel and can also be used with multiple interconnected panels. Power supply and programming are handled via USB-C. The board features screw terminals for powering connected LED panels.
Interstate 75 W has two programmable push buttons, a reset button, a BOOT button, and a built-in RGB LED. A Qwiic connector makes it easy to connect sensors and other modules. Additional connections for I2C, analog signals, UART, and debugging are available along the edge of the board.
The board can be programmed using C/C++ or MicroPython and is supplied fully assembled, with no soldering required.
