Product description
RFM98W is an RF transceiver module with a LoRa modem for long-range wireless communication with high interference immunity and low power consumption. The module combines high sensitivity with a built-in power amplifier and support for multiple modulation methods, making it suitable for IoT systems, remote reading, industrial monitoring, and wireless sensor networks where range and a robust link are required.
LoRa modulation enables a very high link budget and communication over long distances while keeping power consumption low. For flexibility, FSK, GFSK, MSK, GMSK, and OOK are also supported, allowing the module to be used both in new systems and in solutions requiring compatibility with existing radio protocols. All key parameters are configured via SPI, and the module includes built-in features such as a packet engine, CRC, RSSI, temperature sensor, and automatic frequency correction.
The half-duplex architecture with integrated frequency synthesis and digital signal processing provides stable operation over a wide frequency range and makes the module suitable for designs where reliable communication and flexible system design are priorities.
