Low-profile power resistor in an aluminium housing from ARCOL. The LPR series is designed for applications where installation space is limited, such as electric vehicles, instruments, drive systems and frequency converters. The resistor has a low-profile design and is designed for easy mounting.
With a resistance of 8 Ω and a power rating of 50 W, the resistor is also suitable as a dummy load for testing and measuring audio amplifiers, for example to load an amplifier output with a resistive load corresponding to a nominal speaker impedance of 8 Ω.
